WHAT IS CLOAKING FILM?
Cloaking Film is a specialized privacy film for windows that conceals digital screens from external viewers. It works by blocking the light from LEDs and LCDs, rendering screen content invisible to anyone outside the coated glass.
HOW DOES CLOAKING FILM WORK?
The film blocks light wavelengths emitted by most digital screens, making the screens appear blacked out to anyone viewing through the film-covered glass, while still allowing clear visibility of the surrounding environment.
WHAT VIDEO DISPLAYS DOES CLOAKING FILM SUPPORT?
Recommended for horizontally mounted LCD/LED video displays 40″ or greater. We recommend testing with a plexiglass mounteed test piece to ensure compatibility.
Use with other video displays may be possible, however we make no warranty or claim with respect to compatibility.
CAN CLOAKING FILM BE INSTALLED ON ANY GLASS?
It can be applied to most smooth, flat glass surfaces. However, it is not recommended for textured or frosted glass, as it may not stick securely and could compromise its cloaking performance.
DOES CLOAKING FILM WORK ON ANY ELECTRONIC DEVICE?
It works with most modern LED and LCD screens, such as computer monitors, laptops, and certain TVs. However, it may not be compatible with older screen technologies or displays without LED backlighting. Testing a sample piece before installation is recommended to ensure compatibility.
Incompatible video displays include: smartphones, tablets and many apple video display products.
WHAT ARE THE LIMITATIONS OF CLOAKING FILM?
The film restricts visibility from select angles and is specifically designed to obscure standard digital screens. It does not conceal individuals, physical documents, or any non-digital content. To confirm compatibility with your device and installation conditions, we recommend requesting a sample from us.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF USING CLOAKING FILM?

Does Quantum Cloaking Film reduce glare or offer UV protection?

HOW DURABLE IS CLOAKING FILM?
When properly maintained, our Cloaking Film is very durable and can last several years without needing replacement. It is resistant to scratches and fading under normal conditions.
HOW LONG IS THE CURING/DRYING TIME ONCE INSTALLED?
2-4 weeks depending on environment. QuantumCloaking is designed to permit moisture to evaporate through the film. During the curing process, you can use a felt covered card to push out any remaining water.
