WHAT IS CLOAKING FILM?
Cloaking Film is a specialized privacy film for windows that conceals digital screens from external viewers. It works by blocking the light from LEDs and LCDs, rendering screen content invisible to anyone outside the coated glass.
HOW DOES CLOAKING FILM WORK?
Cloaking Film filters the light waves that are produced by the majority of digital displays. As a result, the display will appear as a blacked out screen to someone outside the coated glass. This makes the digital display content invisible to those outside while allowing people inside to still clearly see the display and their surroundings.
WHAT VIDEO DISPLAYS DOES CLOAKING FILM SUPPORT?
Cloaking Film is recommended for use with horizontally mounted LCD/LED video displays 40″ or greater. We recommend that you test the film on a plexiglass mounted test piece first to verify that it is compatible.
Compatibility with other video displays may be possible, but we make no warranty or claims with respect to compatibility.
CAN CLOAKING FILM BE INSTALLED ON ANY GLASS?
Yes. Cloaking film can be installed on most smooth flat glass surfaces. Do not install on textured glass, etched glass, or frosted glass. It may not adhere properly and may not cloak the best.
DOES CLOAKING FILM WORK ON ANY ELECTRONIC DEVICE?
Cloaking film is compatible with most current LED and LCD screens, including computer monitors, laptops and many televisions. It may not work with older or different screen technologies, or on screens that do not use LED backlighting. Check with a sample piece before installing for compatibility.
Videos displays it is NOT compatible with: Smartphones, tablets and many apple video display products.
WHAT ARE THE LIMITATIONS OF CLOAKING FILM?
Cloaking film limits visibility from certain angles and is not a complete cover-all solution. It is designed to conceal standard digital screens and will not conceal people, physical documents or other non-digital materials. We recommend ordering a sample from us to ensure that our film is compatible with your device and installation conditions.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF USING CLOAKING FILM?

HOW LONG WILL CLOAING FILM LAST?
Our Cloaking Film will last for several years if properly cared for, and will not require replacement. It is scratch-resistant and will not fade under normal circumstances.
HOW LONG IS THE CURING/DRYING TIME ONCE INSTALLED?
2-4 weeks depending on environment. Quantum Cloaking is designed to allow moisture to evaporate through the film. Any remaining water can be pushed out during curing with a felt covered card.
